Belize: Part Deux
So this is the part where I break down the actual country of Belize. If you don’t want to read something slightly depressing and mildly boring please stop reading and skip to: Roatan, it’s like America because it was built by Americans.
To be blunt America is rich and Belize is poor, very poor. Shortly after we got back from snorkeling, my sister and I decided to go explore the city of Belize. We...
Day: Shit where are we?
Today was the first day that I woke up and had to actively think about where I was and what I was doing. It’s an interesting feeling not being 100% confident about what day of the week it is. Based on where we are I think its Wednesday but I could be horribly mistaken.
Welcome to Belize! We were greeted with this as we ferried off the pier from the ship. Belize seems like a fairly interesting...
Day 4: Cozumel, Sunburn, Tequila, Seasickness,...
Welcome to Mexico. Land of the Tacos, Tequila, Mayans, and more tequila. Seriously I have never had Tequila pushed me as much as I did in Cozumel. New Places where I was offered tequila today:
1. Leaving the boat at 8 am

3. On the trasport to Playa de Carmen at 8:30
4. On the dock after landing in Playa Carmen at 9:00am
5. ON THE BUS TO THE MAYAN RUINS...

From what I could tell there are only a couple of things that Cayman Islanders care about:
1. ...
Day 2: Fund Day at Sea
Cruise liners have a great way of putting positive spins and every single aspect of your trip. Today I learned that “ A fun Day at Sea” is really “you are stuck on a boat with 4k people you don’t know and we need to cover some serious miles so that you can have all the fun we promised you in those promotional videos.” Disney is the master of the positive spin; Cruise ships take some tips. As...

Day One: Welcome to Americana
Having never been on a cruise ship I had no idea what to expect. Having been raised in a smaller southern town and traveled all over the United Sates, I have seen my fair share of Americana. The Americana that I have can be summarized by a few simple premises.
1. If its American It’s automatically the best
2. If you disagree, you...
